US nuclear sub makes port call in South Korea

Dispatch part of allies' efforts to put Pyongyang on notice

TOKYO -- An American nuclear submarine arrived in the South Korean port of Busan on Tuesday as the U.S., Japan and South Korea increased the pressure on North Korea with their maritime forces.

The USS Michigan, one of the largest subs in the American fleet, can carry up to 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles.
