WASHINGTON -- A prominent human rights lawyer is urging the U.S. Congress to approve military aid for Ukraine, saying that support is what is needed to prevent more Russian war crimes in the conflict.

"I'm a human rights lawyer," Wayne Jordash, co-founder and managing partner of Global Rights Compliance, a not-for-profit firm specializing in international cases, said in an interview.
