SEOUL -- North Korea is sending additional arms to Russia, including self-propelled howitzers and multiple rocket launchers, for use in Moscow's war against Ukraine, South Korean lawmakers said Wednesday, citing the country's main intelligence agency.

In a briefing with reporters, ruling party lawmaker Lee Sung-kwon said that the weapons in question are not arms that Russia typically uses, therefore the National Intelligence Service (NIS) believes that some of the soldiers in the country are there to provide operational training and maintenance.
