UNITED NATIONS -- With Russia blocking the Security Council from taking action on Ukraine, Kyiv and its supporters are now aiming to build pressure on Moscow through a rare emergency special session of the General Assembly.

But China and India have shown a more nuanced position, presenting a challenge for the West trying to show a united front against Moscow's aggression.
