KYIV -- Entrepreneurs in Ukraine have launched businesses under challenging circumstances, with more businesses opening than closing since the beginning of Russia's invasion, creating jobs for the war-hit economy and even helping the military in the long-lasting war.

Anton Yuriev and his wife Alina in November 2022 opened a small restaurant in Kyiv offering traditional cuisine of their home city of Mariupol, the southern part of Ukraine.
