LVIV, Ukraine -- Ukraine will ask the Japanese government for help in bolstering its air defense capabilities, a senior Ukrainian official told Nikkei in an interview on Monday.
Andrii Sybiha, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said the country also intends to request that Japan provide it with jamming equipment to defend Ukraine's infrastructure from attacks by Russian drones.
