BEIJING -- Having cleared a constitutional hurdle to long-term reign, Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to stock his next government team with trusted deputies to ensure a solid grip on power in his second term and beyond.

The Communist Party's Central Committee concluded its third plenum Wednesday, solidifying its list of personnel who will serve under Xi in his next term, news agency Xinhua reported. No specific announcements were made.
