NEW YORK -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's argument that China should continue to build infrastructure in developing countries under its Belt and Road Initiative has sparked outrage on the internet back home.
Wang spoke to reporters in Beijing on Wednesday local time about the outcomes of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Delegates from more than 130 nations attended the event.
