Zhou Qingyu, a former vice president of China Development Bank, came under investigation on suspicion of serious violation of law in his position, China's top graft buster said Friday.

Zhou was detained by authorities after he was summoned by inspectors from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection last week, Caixin learned from exclusive sources. The former executive joined a long parade of China Development Bank officials who have been investigated for corruption.
