TOKYO -- U.S. President Joe Biden visited Chicago on June 28 to deliver a speech touting "Bidenomics," the expansive fiscal agenda he claims has lifted the American economy and resulted in 13.4 million new jobs since his inauguration.

Although the president slammed the "failed" tax cuts passed under his predecessor Donald Trump, the two presidents have both put forward policies on industry and trade tinged with protectionism.
