TOKYO -- The U.S. seems headed for a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump in the November presidential election. If Trump recaptures the White House, as some polls suggest, how would his return as leader of the free world alter the global political landscape?

Politics is determined largely by how much time a leader has in office. Under the U.S. Constitution, both Biden and Trump are limited to one more four-year term.
