TOKYO -- The Republican Party is expected to take control of the U.S. House of Representatives after Tuesday's midterm elections, with strong showings by some candidates backed by former President Donald Trump. Trump himself is expected to announce as early as next week that he will run for president again in 2024.
Trump should have a good gloat over the development, and he may not be the only one.
