TOKYO -- The just-closed Group of Seven leaders' summit reminded the world of just how powerful an in-person appearance is.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who leads a nation menaced by Russian nuclear threats, came to Japan -- the only country to have experienced a nuclear attack.
