Coal prices seen weakening further

SYDNEY -- It is hardly the Christmas present the battered global thermal coal sector was waiting for, but December marked a fresh nadir for the industry once dubbed the king of commodities.

     On Dec. 12, 195 countries inked a new climate deal in Paris aimed at cutting reliance on fossil fuels to keep the global temperate rise to below 2 degree Celsius.
