HONG KONG -- Cambodia and Vietnam occupied the top spots in the latest edition of Nikkei's COVID-19 Recovery Index, showing the Southeast Asian neighbors are well on their way back to business as usual.

Around the region, however, concern is growing as the BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants of the omicron strain spread and countries brace for new waves of infections.
