TAIPEI -- Taiwan's lengthy success in keeping out COVID-19 is complicating the island's path away from a pandemic posture as a relaxation of travel curbs fuels a record spike in cases.
"We will ease border controls to get on the same page as the international community and return life to normal," Premier Su Tseng-chang said Monday while announcing a further relaxation of quarantine requirements for incoming travelers.
