TOKYO -- Crypto exchanges on Wednesday rushed to offer support to Vietnamese startup Sky Mavis after it was revealed that over $600 million worth of cryptocurrency had been stolen from its network.

Ronin, the blockchain network linked to Sky Mavis’ popular crypto game Axie Infinity, said in a blog post that 173,600 Ethereum coins and 25.5 million USDCs, a cryptocurrency pegged to the U.S. dollar, were "drained" in two transactions on March 23.
