TOKYO -- Seeking fresh channels for growth, cryptocurrency trading platforms in Japan -- the world's biggest market -- are branching out to other parts of Asia and beyond.

Quoine is launching in the Philippines next year. Bitpoint Japan, a subsidiary of Remixpoint that brought trading to South Korea last month, is set to enter Taiwan in January.
