SINGAPORE -- Singapore's public and private sectors are ramping up efforts to combat deepfakes and other digitally manipulated content, planning ahead for a general election to be held by November 2025.

In a recent demonstration of Aletheia, a deepfake detection service developed by Ensign InfoSecurity, a person resembling Keanu Reeves took part in an online meeting.
