CVC Capital buys $155m stake in Indonesia's Samator Indo Gas

Investment will support Indonesian gas producer's push to expand

JAKARTA -- Indonesia-listed industrial gas producer Samator Indo Gas announced on Thursday that Matrix, an investment holding company managed by CVC Capital Partners, has acquired a significant minority stake in it worth $155 million.

The Harsono family will continue to be top stakeholders in Samator Indo Gas, according to the statement. The Harsono family currently holds a 28.44% stake in Samator Indo Gas, according to Indonesia Stock Exchange data, while investment firm Saratoga Sedaya Investama and Aneka Mega Energi each own a 10% stake.
