JAKARTA -- Climate funds are making a beeline to invest in Southeast Asia to maximize impact, in a bid to transform the economy and protect the environment.

While Aera VC, which is one of Asia's oldest climate funds, has raised $50 million, Eversource Capital is understood to be mulling its second fund to ramp up funding in the sector.
