Gulf Capital to set up $750m fund for Southeast Asian companies

Fund will invest in business looking to expand into Middle East

SINGAPORE -- Private equity firm Gulf Capital is in the market to raise money for its control-growth buyout vehicle, GC Equity Partners IV.

The company is targeting about $750 million for the vehicle, similar to its predecessor fund, Gulf Capital's co-founder and CEO Karim El Solh told DealStreetAsia.
