HappyFresh resumes Indonesia grocery deliveries after new funding

Embattled startup to halt operations in Thailand and Malaysia

JAKARTA -- Grocery delivery startup HappyFresh has raised new funding and resumed operations in its biggest market Indonesia. However, it will cease operations in Thailand and Malaysia, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

HappyFresh said it had received a "fresh funds injection" and reinstated top executives including CEO Guillem Segarra, Chief Financial Officer Frederic Verin and Chief Operating Officer Christoph Krauss.
