Indonesian crypto trading platform Pintu raises $113m

Startup to roll out additional tokens and supported blockchains

JAKARTA -- Indonesia's crypto wallet and trading platform Pintu has obtained $113 million in a Series B round from investors, including Intudo Ventures, Lightspeed, Northstar Group and Pantera Capital, the company said on Tuesday.

According to regulatory filings seen by DealStreetAsia, London-based venture capital company Hedosophia contributed $45 million in this round, making it the lead investor. Hedosophia is founded by British tech financier Ian Osborne, who is known for being secretive about his investments. The company has previously backed Indonesia's BukuKas and Singapore's Osome.
