JAKARTA -- As the demand for solar panels is expected to rise this year, Indonesia's Xurya, which develops rooftop solar panels for businesses and industries, aims to close a new funding round by the end of this year, said a top executive.

"We continuously fundraise because we need fresh funds to support new projects. This year, we target to close another financing round which will be bigger than our previous one," Xurya's co-founder and Managing Director Eka Himawan told DealStreetAsia in a recent interview.
