Navis Capital invests $110m in education portfolio, adds Thai asset

Southeast Asian private equity firm tapping demand for 'affordable education'

HANOI -- Southeast Asian private equity firm Navis Capital Partners has invested in Thailand-based Ambassador Education, following on from investments in other education assets in Vietnam and Cambodia.

While not divulging the amount invested in Ambassador Education, Nicholas Bloy, co-founder and managing partner of Navis, told DealStreetAsia that the buyout firm has put a total of $110 million into its entire education "platform."
