Singapore logistics service provider Janio secures fresh funding

Vertex Venture funds pumps $8m into startup; warrants can double the amount

CEBU, Philippines -- Singapore-headquartered cross-border logistics service provider Janio has secured fresh capital from two funds managed by Temasek-backed venture capital investor Vertex Venture Holdings, per regulatory filings.

The startup, which acts as a fourth-party logistics (4PL) provider, has bagged $8 million in Series B funding from Vertex Growth Fund and Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, according to filings with Singapore's Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
