Singapore's Affirma Capital invests $38m in U.S. 'webtoon' company

Terapin Studios will use funds to buy South Korean digital comic platform

CEBU, Philippines -- Singapore private equity company Affirma Capital said that it has pumped $38 million into U.S.-based digital content producer Terapin Studios.

The funds are part of a $93 million co-investment made with South Korea's NPX Private Equity, Affirma announced.
