Singapore's Cosmose AI raises funds; valuation jumps to $500m

HONG KONG -- Singapore-based Cosmose AI, which provides analytics driven by artificial intelligence to retailers about offline shopping habits, has sealed a strategic investment round from the Near Foundation, the entity behind its blockchain network, the company announced on Monday.

Although Cosmose AI did not disclose details, its valuation hit $500 million after Near's investment -- $400 million more than after a $15 million Series A round in September 2020.
