Thai insurtech Roojai raises $42m led by Germany's Talanx Group

Startup to use some of funds for expansion into Indonesia and the Philippines

BANGKOK -- Roojai, a Thailand-based insurtech startup, has raised $42 million in a Series B fundraising round led by HDI International, a subsidiary of the German insurance company Talanx Group.

The World Bank's International Financial Cooperation (IFC), an existing investor, also participated, according to a company statement on Tuesday.
