TOKYO -- China's leading electric vehicle battery maker CATL did not reveal how much it received in state subsidies in its last full-year disclosure before raising $5.3 billion in a secondary share listing in Hong Kong this week.

The company, officially known as Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., had previously shared such information in accordance with disclosure rules set by mainland Chinese authorities, as it has been listed in Shenzhen since 2018 and dual-listed in Hong Kong since Tuesday.
