BEIJING -- Chinese automaker Zhejiang Geely Holding Group said it expects global sales to rise 10% to 2.5 million units this year, buoyed by the popularity of electric and other low-emission vehicles.

The global semiconductor shortage is expected to ease, and Geely plans to expand sales of low-emission offerings and bolster offshore operations. The group is also setting up additional battery swapping stations to service electric vehicles.
