DUBAI -- Indonesia is ready to execute a $20 billion renewable energy financing plan backed by wealthy nations, but investors must change their "business-as-usual" mindset for funding projects crucial to reducing coal power, the initiative's head told Nikkei Asia.

More than 400 power projects have been identified to support Indonesia's Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), a mechanism under which developed nations commit to mobilizing funds aimed at helping developing countries accelerate the shift to clean energy and reach their net-zero emissions goals.
