LUANG PRABANG, Laos -- An unusual project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from cattle farming is underway in Laos, with the Australian company behind it planning to bring the initiative to additional countries.

A factory owned by AgCoTech, located about 40 minutes from downtown Luang Prabang in northern Laos, produces mineral-infused lick blocks that help curb greenhouse gas emissions from cattle.
