JAKARTA -- An operator of carbon management systems -- including one for consumers who find rides on the Gojek hailing app -- could find itself in a brighter spotlight now that the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is about to open the country's first carbon market.

There's nothing official; platform operator Jejakin is accepting registrations. But down the road, it could find itself selling a hot commodity to the new market, which starts trading on Tuesday.
