TOKYO -- Japan will deepen its cooperation with other Asian governments on clean energy, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Friday, as he laid out his vision for an "OECD of Asia" to help set rules and guidelines for the green transition.
Kishida was speaking at the Asia Business Summit hosted by the Japan Business Federation, or Keidanren, on Friday. Representatives of 13 business groups from 11 Asian economies took part in the event, including the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Philippines-Japan Economic Cooperation Committee, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
