TOKYO -- Robotics companies that create trust between humans and machines will grab the advantage as automation expands across industries, according to the founder and head of robot vacuum cleaner maker iRobot.

Many fear robots will take jobs away from humans as we hurtle toward a future where their intelligence outstrips ours. But iRobot chairman Colin Angle believes companies can ease such concerns by making it clear what value their robots offer.
