Takeda CEO sees workforce shifting to emerging countries

TOKYO -- More than half of Takeda Pharmaceutical's employees will work in emerging markets a decade from now as Japan's largest drugmaker accelerates its globalization under French CEO Christophe Weber.

"In five or 10 years," Weber said in an interview on the sidelines of the Nikkei Global Management Forum, "the majority of our employees will be in emerging countries."
