GUANGZHOU -- Chinese smartphone maker Huawei Technologies is eyeing a global comeback, boosting the number of markets where it sells phones equipped with high-performance chips -- developed in-house to sidestep U.S. sanctions -- to about 60.
At the end of last year, large billboards for Huawei's latest foldable smartphone, the Mate X6, were spotted in high-profile locations around the world in cities like Hong Kong, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur.
