Seoul and Tokyo to hold talks on export controls in December

Agenda to include fast-track trade status and restrictions on high-tech materials

The trade dispute between Japan and South Korea has been festering for months, hurting two of Asia's biggest exporters. 

SEOUL (Reuters) -- South Korea and Japan have agreed to hold senior-level trade talks in December to discuss Tokyo's export restrictions at the center of a bitter dispute between the two countries, the South Korean trade ministry said on Friday.
