TOKYO -- As education levels rise in emerging Asian economies, young workers seeking better jobs are coming to Japan in record numbers. But competition for this talent with other countries in the region continues to intensify.
Nepal's labor minister stressed the importance of job creation in Japan to his country on a visit here in September. While 500,000 new graduates enter the labor market each year, Sharat Singh Bhandari said Nepal itself can find jobs for only around 100,000.
