Japan to help employers spot labor issues faced by foreign workers

Companies urged to pick designated managers to avoid problems

TOKYO -- Japan will start training companies employing international workers about legal frameworks and best practices in response to increasing cases of compliance and human resources challenges.

Businesses with least 10 foreign employees are to appoint managers responsible for securing proper labor conditions and other employment matters under Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare guidelines.
