TOKYO -- A growing number of companies in Japan are offering services to guide foreign nationals through an often-daunting rental housing market.

Staffing group Adecco has partnered with rental property manager Daiwa Living and rent debt guarantee servicer Entrust to match rentals with foreigners holding "specified skills" work visas.
