TOKYO -- Heading into 2024, Asian investors are keeping an eye on China's efforts to revive its slowing economy, potential interest rate cuts across the region, and how high the sun will rise in Japan.

Asia looks to enter a "sweet spot" early in the year, with growth outperforming developed countries due to a recovery in the semiconductor chip space, Nomura said in its 2024 market outlook.
