My message to the next generation: Yohji Yamamoto (28)

Full devotion is the only way to succeed in this tough world

Yohji Yamamoto | Japan

The business environment changed dramatically after the company applied for civil rehabilitation in October 2009.

Sales dropped from a peak of about 12 billion yen to roughly 7.5 billion yen. To cut costs, the number of employees was reduced from about 500 to just under 300. I am sorry from the bottom of my heart to those who had to leave the company. I would like to take a moment here to offer them my sincere apology.
