HANOI -- Cambodia's foreign minister plans to visit Myanmar this month in his capacity as special envoy for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, which would mark the first time the country hosts the group's diplomat since the military took power last year.
Prak Sokhonn's trip would take place over four days ending March 23, state media reported Thursday. He assumed the post when Cambodia took over as this year's chair of ASEAN, which includes Myanmar as a member. The 10-member bloc has been playing a lead role as peacemaker in Myanmar.
