BANGKOK -- Myanmar's military government has suspended aid access to a region devastated by Cyclone Mocha, a United Nations aid agency said on Tuesday, in a blow to more than a million people in need of humanitarian assistance.

The reason for the decision is not clear, but it is believed to do with the military's mistrust of international assistance agencies.
