NEW YORK -- Aiming to keep the economic net around North Korea tight, the U.S. is calling on businesses to scrutinize supply chains for potential violations of sanctions imposed over Pyongyang's weapons programs.

An advisory issued by the State, Treasury and Homeland Security departments on Monday details areas where businesses should take care not to go astray.
