SEOUL -- North Korea's latest weapons tests show how the country is trying to expand its options for tactical nuclear attacks in the face of superior U.S. and South Korean naval power, defense analysts said.

State media on Friday reported that North Korea had carried out successful tests of cruise missiles and a nuclear-capable underwater drone able to trigger a "radioactive tsunami" that could destroy enemy ships and ports.
