SEOUL -- North Korea sent thousands of workers to construction sites across Russia in 2024, according to South Korean intelligence cited by the Yonhap News Agency.

With Russia facing a severe labor shortage as its war with Ukraine drags on, the North Korean workers are seen helping fill this gap.
